We are pleased to welcome Huw Ponting and Dr Kesta Purt who will be speaking on the below topics:

Huw Ponting – Partner, Enable Law: “From abstract to reality: the transition from litigation to a fulfilling future”.

The landscape of an individual’s life can often become defined by the litigation whilst it is ongoing. It is stressful and difficult but usually in stark contrast to that of what it will likely be like post-settlement. Often the claimant will struggle to adjust initially, but thereafter they should, and usually do go on to have a fulfilling life, improved by the receipt of damages on settlement.

Huw heads up the Personal Injury team at Enable Law.

He has significant experience advising clients who have sustained complex life changing neurological as well as other life changing injuries, with particular focus on brain injury.

Huw is also a Court of Protection appointed Deputy for a number of clients who are unable to deal with their affairs because of the injuries they have sustained working with clients to take decisions on funding of care and rehabilitation packages for clients, including the training and development of the care staff who may work with them.

and

Dr Kesta Purt – Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology, Arbor Neuro: “Settlement. It can be unsettling”.
