Michelle is a highly motivated and dedicated practitioner who continues to make a positive difference to the lives of others. Michelle has developed several years case management experience as well as 10 years of practising as an Occupational Therapist.
Michelle is confident, meticulous and competent regarding treatment pathways within the NHS and Social Care. Michelle’s broad clinical exposure equips her to manage cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, complex orthopaedic injuries, psychological symptoms and multi-trauma presentations. She is experienced in the rehabilitation process and works collaboratively and proactively with all clinicians, families and the legal team to ensure her client progressed with their rehabilitation, is supported accordingly and returns to their optimum function.
Michelle has delivered Immediate Needs Assessments and coordinated multi-disciplinary rehabilitation programmes tailored to each client’s needs. Her work includes extensive liaison with medical professionals, treatment providers, and legal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective intervention.
Michelle has supported clients with complex cognitive, physical, vocational, and psychological needs and is adept at navigating statutory services, sourcing appropriate providers, managing risk, and attending multi-disciplinary meetings. She maintains clear, detailed documentation to support litigation and ensure continuity of care.
Throughout her career, Michelle has demonstrated strong leadership, and leading services through staff shortages and operational challenges.
