Méabh is a compassionate social worker, who believes in empowering individuals to make decisions that are right for them.  Méabh advocates for her clients and takes a holistic approach to ensuring clients’ needs are met to a high standard.  Méabh has extensive experience working with patients within acute and community settings and provisioning services to meet their needs.  Méabh takes pride in assessing a client’s full needs and making sure these are fully reflected in written reports / assessments.  Méabh has worked in medicalised environments for several years and understands how overwhelming it can be to try and understand medicalised language / professional’s role.

Méabh provides practical, but also emotional support to clients throughout the process.  She has experience of working with a varied client group including those with complex physical or cognitive needs.  This includes clients whose needs may have changed due to neurological or degenerative conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s disease, and Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Parkinson’s or patients with a palliative diagnosis.  Méabh believes that clients wants and wishes should always be at the forefront of care and should be encouraged.  Having worked in acute and community settings, Méabh has significant experience of multi-disciplinary working and is well accustomed to working with a range of professionals.
