Loretta is an experienced paediatric nurse and care expert with experience supporting children and families with complex health and care needs, including coordination of care packages and multidisciplinary support.
Loretta has extensive experience working with children and young people with complex medical and nursing needs, including those living with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries and long-term neurological conditions. As an independent case manager, she works closely with families, treating clinicians, therapists, schools, commissioners and care providers to ensure that each child receives coordinated, person-centred support. Loretta is skilled in setting up and managing complex care packages, recruiting and overseeing care teams, and coordinating effective multidisciplinary team working.
She also supports families through key transitions, including discharge planning, access to specialist school placements, EHCP processes, and identifying suitable property adaptations to promote safety, independence and quality of life.
